What is CashMax?

CashMax is an online market place, with physical shops in Jurong East and Hougang, for those who wish to sell their pre-loved branded luxury jewelleries and timepieces with as less hassle as possible. Our premium standards compel us to be stringent in the highest possible means when purchasing stocks, demanding only the best condition from sellers.

Does CashMax guarantee authenticity of its items?

Yes. Every item in our store is guaranteed authentic and has gone through stringent measures to ensure that they are indeed genuine.

What are the conditions of your items?

CashMax is very meticulous in the jewellery and watches that we purchase and sell. We ensure that we will only offer sincere and detailed description of the luxury items and its current condition. Flaws will be properly highlighted. Furthermore, every item will include thorough and honest descriptions of its condition – including any signs of wear. We have an established grading system which allows us to quantitatively assess the condition of an item. To make sure that you only get quality products, we do not deal with damaged or non-authentic items.

Does CashMax accept jewellery items from lesser-known local brands?

CashMax accepts jewellery items from lesser-known brands on a case-by-case basis.

Are these pre-owned watches and jewelleries cleaned or reconditioned prior to selling?

With our aim to sell high quality pre-owned jewelleries and watches, any item that shows slight flaws or signs of wear are carefully repaired and restored by professionals at CashMax.

Do the items come with original packaging and authenticity cards?

In the product description field of each item, we will indicate if the item comes with its original boxes, accessories, authenticity certificates and manuals.

Are the images shown on your website the actual items listed?

Yes. We take professional photos of every product we sell. Through these images, we indicate the areas of wear for our pre-owned jewelleries and watches.

Are the prices of your items negotiable?

No. Our prices are fixed.

Do you have promotion or sale events?

Yes, we do have occasional sale or promotion events. Visit our Specials page to view our latest promotions or sign up with our Newsletter Serviceto receive the latest updates.

Do you have an ethical sourcing policy?

With our commitment to giving you the best value for your money while instilling the value of honesty into every aspect of our transactions, CashMax ensures that all our items are sourced under acceptable conditions and in an ethical way through lawful, fair and honest dealings; and without exploiting the people who sold them.

Can I Trade in used Gold for items listed on Cashmax?

You are welcome to trade in your used gold valuables for our pre-owned Rolex watches, any branded pre-owned watches, or jewellery listed on our site. You are allowed to trade in used gold for gold bars too. However, such transaction can only be done at our Hougang and Jurong East outlets.

CONSIGNMENT

What is consignment?

The term ‘consignment’ is used for items that you send to CashMax to be sold over our online and physical shop. You will receive payment after CashMax completes the sale of your items within 90 days.
Please note that we currently only accept items from sellers within Singapore.

How do you determine pricing in consignments and what are the consignment fees?

To determine the price of an item, we use the recent sale of a similar item by checking (1) our record of sales, (2) online pricing or (3) auction prices from other sellers. We also evaluate the retail value of an item, which includes its condition, rarity, brilliance and other factors.

As for the fees, CashMax retains a 20% commission on the final selling price of your timepiece and 30% for jewelleries or other luxury items.

How and when do I get paid?

We usually make payments through Cheque, Telegraphic Transfer or Fund Transfer once the item is sold and accepted by a buyer. We aim to send you the payment within 14 working days from the date that the buyer receives your item.

How long will it take for my items to be sold?

We cannot determine how long your items will be sold to a buyer. It varies from item to item. Some get sold within hours, while others may take longer.

What if my item does not sell?

Usually, consignment items sell before the 90 day consignment term ends. However, in cases when the item remains unsold after the consignment term, we will contact you to discuss the following options:

a. Keeping it available for sale at a reduced or clearance price; or

b. Returning it to you within 7 working days. You will not be charged for the return of the item.

What method of delivery should I use to send items in for consignment?

After you accept our proposed price for your item, we will arrange for a courier, free of charge, to pick up your item at your preferred date and time.

If you wish to do so, you may also drop-off your item at our shops at Blk 681, Hougang Avenue 8,
#01-861, Singapore 530681 or at Blk 130, Jurong Gateway Road, #01-237, Singapore 600130, whichever is more convenient for you, from Mondays to Fridays, between 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Can I cancel an order?

As soon as we receive your order, we immediately pick it, pack and send it over to you as quickly as possible. Hence, we cannot cancel your order once it is encoded in our system. To ensure that you receive your order, please key in the correct delivery address.

What do I do if I experience technical issues?

If you are having problems accessing our website, please use the latest version of your operating system and your browser. If you are still having problems, email us at help@cashmaxjewelry.com or call (+65) 63865500.

RETURN & EXCHANGES

Can I return my item?

Through close quality control, CashMax ensures that its items are of excellent value. However, in cases when you receive incorrect or defective items, we allow you to return the item within 7 days from the date you received them, subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • The item must be in their original condition when you purchased them. It must include the original packaging, warranty cards, user’s manuals and accessories, if any.
  • If you purchased an item as a part of a set, the entire set must be returned.
  • Tags, if any, must not be removed from the item.
  • This does not apply to items that are marked as Non-exchangeable and Non-refundable.

CashMax will review all the items returned. We reserve the right to address the matter by repairing and restoring the item; giving you a full refund; or giving you a partial refund if the item does not contain all its original packaging and accessories, if any.

How do I return an incorrect or defective item?

CashMax ensures that your items are packed and delivered properly. However, in cases when you receive the wrong item or defective items, please email us immediately at help@cashmaxjewelry.com or call us at (+65) 63865500 with your Item Code, Order Number, contact information and the reason for the return. We will contact you once we have received the returned item and replace the item right away. We will immediately arrange for a complimentary pick-up of the defective/wrong item. For overseas orders, we will also arrange for a complimentary pick-up and insured shipping.

PAYMENT

What modes of payment are accepted?

CashMax accepts payments made via the following:
Physical shops:        NETS, Visa and MasterCard
Online shop:        Telegraphic Transfer, Fund Transfer and PayPal.

Is it safe to pay online?

Ordering and paying online is safe. Our E-commerce Website is hosted on a secure server. Furthermore, we will be using PayPal, a secure checkout system.

What currency will I pay in?

You will be billed in Singapore Dollars (SGD/S$).

DELIVERY

What courier service does CashMax use for its delivery?

Packages are sent via the following private courier services:

  • For orders within Singapore, we have our own private courier to safely deliver your items.
  • For overseas orders, we employ FedEx’s services.
Is my package insured?

All items delivered are insured against theft as well as transport and accidental damages. However, the insurance is no longer valid once the item reaches your delivery address.

Do I need to sign for my order?

To ensure that the item has reached you in good condition, we require a proof of delivery from our courier. Hence, you need to sign for your order. Do note that we do not deliver to PO Box addresses.

Will I be charged a courier fee?

CashMax offers complimentary courier services to orders delivered to Singapore.

How long do I wait for my item?

Items will be delivered within 3 to 10 working days upon receipt of payment.

When do you usually deliver?

In Singapore, we deliver from Mondays through Fridays, from 10 am to 7 pm. For overseas orders, your item will be delivered by FedEx.

What if an item is missing from my order?

It is possible that we have sent your items in separate packages, so your items might arrive separately. If after 10 days you still have not received the missing item, please us at (+65) 63865500.

What countries do you ship to?

We are able to ship to most countries as long as our shipping and insurance companies are willing to support.

CUSTOM CLEARANCE

While we appoint our own agents to carry out delivery, all goods are subjected to local customs clearance formalities and regulations of respective countries. This may include providing additional personal documentation or permit as a result of the actions of customs clearance. CashMax will endeavor to expedite that all customs formalities for your order but are not liable for any delays, losses or interference due to customs. Kindly check with your local customs offices for any applicable duties and taxes. Any duties and taxes required by your local customs shall be paid by you.
